Where’s the Help?

Cycle, habit, or addiction? Related, cause or effect? Expert opinion will vary, differ, argue, and disagree. Regardless, the cure, remedy, and path to change is the same and does not differ—the saving grace and lifesaving and changing love of Jesus Christ.

The Bible

There are many translations of the Bible. In your new Christian growth, like a newborn baby begins its life on nourishing milk before solid food, you need an easy-to-read and understand Bible. Heavy-duty study Bibles can come later when you have the adequate spiritual growth. Again, this is not the time to enter a “marathon.”

A group of Jesus Christ–worshiping followers

As stated in God’s instructional scriptures/instructions, we need to be with experienced Jesus-loving people. Groups of these experienced believers are referred to as God’s church. They are not a building, they are a group of Jesus believers that share their experience/testimony in their Savior Jesus. They seek a continually growing relationship with Jesus.

They are not a religion; they are a living relationship. They may become organized, but first and foremost, they seek the evergrowing Jesus relationship. (See “Relationship, not Religion”!)

Christian organizations

There are many groups who offer services, guidance, and help. Be sure your groups have Jesus as their foundation, not just a helping step.
